Ms. Em’s has found a way to incorporate the most wheat or little or no white flour into her homemade bread recipe without any additional sugar. Her main motive for formulating this recipe was because her husband was a diabetic for thirty (30) years and she wanted him to still enjoy bread in the healthiest possible way.
She also maintained the view that it is good to train the appetite for less sugar. She said “every small amount adds up”, so the rest of her family who were non-diabetics acquired the taste for a rich wheat bread with no sugar.
She has left her legacy for us to enjoy!!
